How to Prevent Being a Gambling Loser

By Scott Hastings

Everybody fundamentally has the same chance of winning and losing when it comes to gambling. But it does make you wonder why some folks triumph so much and why others lose so constantly. If you lose much of the time does it mean that you're a loser? No, not really. Your approach to gambling may very well be what is causing the problem. Check out the suggestions below to determine if that is your problem.

Set a budget for winning and losing

Many folks think that they are losers because they lose so much money. You need to set a plan for how much cash you are ready to lose. When you reach that limit, then it is time to give up. Do not get sucked into the temptation to keep gambling in order to win back what you have lost. This could not occur. You will not win it back. Once you have reached your monetary limit, then quit. This also pertains to winning. Set a restriction on the quantity of money that you will win. After you attain that goal, then give up. Do not gamble that money with the thought that you'll win extra. It is more probable that you're going to lose it.

Don't borrow to gamble

When you have lost all you can - you are done! Go home! Do not borrow anyone else's cash so that you can lose more. All which will do is cause you more Problems than you already have. Borrowing is one of the worst things you can do to sustain your gambling. You are just compounding the problem.

Set a cutoff point on gambling

as well as having a finance budget, you also need a time budget. Whether you are victorious or losing, you want to set a cutoff point on the quantity of time that you will expend gambling. Irrespective of what your current position, when you have reached your cutoff point, then give up. Go and relax, take a nap or whatever, but get away from the gambling once your cutoff point has been reached.

Get some rest

Don't bet with out a break. Gambling can be very stressful. And if you're gambling for a significant period of time, the stress just keeps mounting up. So, take a break when you are feeling tired. If you get too exhausted, then you'll begin making poor decisions and that will effect your game. Take a break, get some air, get something to eat or even take a nap. Then, once refreshed, you can return.

Engage in other activities

do not simply bet. Have other things planned to do when you're not gambling. Other interests will get your mind away from the gambling and therefore will relax you and get you mentally geared up to take on the challenge after you return to the table or slots. Always have something else to do. Getting away can clear your intelligence and give you different outlook.

Avoid stress and emotional distress

Don't gamble when you're under plenty of emotional stress. This will only lead to Problems and complications . You can not reflect clearly when you are distressed or distracted. Keep away from gambling if you're under any type of stress. If you do not, the probabilities of you winning are least.

Dementia Managing

By Robert Sanders

Part of the problem in finding drugs which may be effective for dementia is that our ideas about what constitutes dementia have been undergoing radical change in recent years. It had been traditional to distinguish between Alzheimer's dementia, or senile dementia of the Alzheimer's type (SDAT) and multi-infarct dementia (MID), which is theoretically caused by small strokes which insidiously pick off brain tissue to the point where an individual's cognitive function is compromised.

It was originally thought that MID accounted for 60%+ of the dementias. Accordingly, early attempts to treat the dementias concentrated on the multi-infarct dementias. The initial hypothesis was that these multiple small strokes were being caused by a process of hardening of the arteries, sometimes called arteriosclerosis and sometimes atherosclerosis (although these terms refer to two quite different disorders) which impaired blood supply to the brain. The logical treatment, therefore, for this condition was to attempt to dilate blood vessels. This led to the use of a wide number of vasodilating drugs such as hydralazine.

It is quite rare now for such drugs to be used for this purpose. Arguably, if anything, such treatment may have made the condition somewhat worse in that a potential effect of vasodilators is the reduction of blood pressure and reducing blood pressure would mean that the brain would be less perfused with blood, as one of the functions of blood pressure in the first instance is to provide the propulsive force to send blood up against the force of gravity to perfuse the brain.

Stage 2

More recent attempts to treat the dementias have proceeded on the basis that Alzheimer's dementia is the commonest form of dementia. For many years, the term Alzheimer's dementia was reserved for dementias that came on before the age of 65 (for this reason it was also called persenile dementia), which were not obviously caused by strokes. It was conceded that there was another dementia that was like Alzheimer's dementia, which appeared to come on after the age of 65 but this was thought to be less common. Distinctions on the basis of age have now collapsed and both dementias of the Alzheimer type are now called senile dementia of the Alzheimer type. The amalgamation of these two groups led to an awareness that Alzheimer's-type dementia is the commonest form. The primary therapeutic focus in the field, therefore, has been on an attempt to reverse the deficits which are supposed to be present in SDAT.

In particular, it has been held that in Alzheimer's, there is a dysfunction of cholinergic pathways in the brain, for which there are both historical and clinical reason. Historically, when early work in psychopharmacology began, there were only four known neurotransmitters - noradrenaline, 5-HT, dopamine and acetylcholine (ACh). Noradrenaline quickly became the neurotransmitter involved in depression and mood disorders. Dopamine was known to be involved in Parkinson's disease, and, when it became clear that neuroleptics acted on it, schizophrenia, after which the psychoses in general came to be seen as disorders of dopamine neurotransmission. For the most part, 5-HT was associated with either depression or anxiety. This left ACh without a function. It seemed convenient to parcel it out to the dementias.

There was, in addition, some clinical evidence in favour of an association between the cholinergic system and dementia. Part of the reason for this claim can be seen in a number of the chapters of this blog, in which drugs with anticholinergic effects have been noted as potentially causing amnesia or confusion (see The Management of Side Effects & Side Effects of Antidepressants articles).

Stage 3

In the last 5 years, a number of other dementias have been described. A distinction has been drawn between cortical and subcortical dementias. The cortex of the brain is the area responsible for higher cognitive functions, such as speaking, reading, planning and executing actions, etc In the cortical dementias, memory is usually the function most noticeably affected but those who are affected also have problems with planning even simple functions such as dressing and they typically cannot read, draw or execute any complex tasks. Alzheimer's and MID are cortical dementias. There are also subcortical parts to the brain which are common to humans and other mammals. They involve a number of what are termed midbrain and brainstem structures.

Sharp Reviews Of A Wide Variety Of Motion Pictures

By Bobbi Knox

The following paragraphs contain some nice movie reviews. To find movie downloads do a search. You should have good luck with a search like "New Movie Rental"; if not then try "Download Movies Internet" and "DVD Movies Downloads".

Requiem for a Heavyweight: The solemn account of boxer, Quinn, whose ring days are over, pushing him into corruption and degradation. His sleazy supervisor Gleason, understanding teacher Rooney, and Harris as unrealistic city employee are all fine. Cast includes Anthony Quinn, Jackie Gleason, Mickey Rooney, Julie Harris, Nancy Cushman, Madame Spivy, and Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali). (100 minutes, 1952)

Nutcracker the Motion Picture: Much of this rendition of The Nutcracker, acted by the Pacific Northwest Ballet, is like a music video with rapid cutting and close-ups of legs, faces, and elbows. This is extremely irritating. However the Tchaikovsky music is, obviously, amazing, as are Maurice Sendak's sets and costumes. Cast includes Hugh Bigney, Vanessa Sharp Patricia Barker, Plod Walthall, Russell Burnett, and the voice of Julie Harris. (89 minutes, 1986)

The Happening: A light hearted and light headed caper tale focusing around the abduction of a now honorable used to be gangster (Quinn). This is Dunaway's film debut. The title melody became No. 1 hit for The Supremes. Cast includes Anthony Quinn, George Maharis, Michael Parks, Robert Stroller, Faye Dunaway, Milton Berle, Oscar Homolka, Jack Kruschen, Clifton James, and Eugene Roche. (101 minutes, 1967)

Strange Behavior: This shocker in regards to a grisly murder in a tiny Midwestern town (shot in New Zealand!) received inexplicably excellent reviews in numerous places. You wonder what all the excitement was in reference to. Cast includes Michael Murphy, Louise Fletcher, Dan Shore, Fiona Lewis, Arthur Dignam, Scott Brady, and Charles Aisle. (98 minutes, 1981)

The League of Gentlemen: An ex-army colonel enlists the help of prior officers (through blackmail) to pull off a large bank heist. High-style British humor makes this story of crime a pleasure. Cast includes Jack Hawkins, Nigel Patrick, Roger Livesey, Richard Attenborough, Bryan Forbes, Kieron Moore, Robert Coote, and Nanette Newman. (114 minutes, 1960)

A Face in the Rain: The movie is a tense melodrama with Calhoun as a U.S. espionage agent being concealed in Italy by a local anti-Nazi who?s the mistress of a German officer. This is a WW2 drama. Cast includes Rory Calhoun, Marina Berti, Niall MacGinnis, and Massimo Giuliani. (91 minutes, 1963)

The Sea Shall Not Have Them: A British bomber airplane is taken down into the sea during WW2 and a huge effort is made to rescue it. Cast includes Michael Redgrave, Dirk Bogarde, Anthony Steel, Nigel Patrick, Nigel Green, and Rachel Kempson. (91 minutes, 1954)

Lillian Russell: This is a strained bio of the early 2Oth-century megastar. Lavish surroundings and weak plot line decrease Faye's work. Arnold replicates his Diamond Jim Brady role with zest. Cast includes Alice Faye, Don Ameche, Henry Fonda, Edward Arnold, Warren William, Leo Carrillo, and Nigel Bruce. (127 minutes, 1940)

Pajama Party: The fourth beach party film moves inside, changes director and megastar (albeit Frankie Avalon and Don Rickles do have cameos). Kirk plays an alien adolescent who drops in and is understandably confused. Just fair, albeit it's unconditionally fine to see Keaton at work. Cast includes Tommy Kirk, Annette Funicello, Dorothy Lamour, Elsa Lanchester, Harvey Lembeck, Jody McCrea, Buster Keaton, Susan Hart, and Donna Loren. (85 minutes, 1984)

I hope you enjoyed the reviews. With the right search, like "Download Movies Legally" or "Movies Download Sites" you will find out all you need to know on downloading movies from the internet. Try "Best Movie Download Site" if nothing else has worked.

Some Informations On RTG Casinos

If you haven't caught on yet, you should know that RTG casinos can be pretty fun. Just think about all the money you can make and the people you can talk to from the comfort of your own office chair. Don't rush into it though! Make sure that you read a few things about RTG casinos first. There are a lot of rules to follow, and they are there for a reason, after all, without rules there would just be chaos!

Play Mechanics

Before you begin to play, there is software to install. The RTG site that you are using will have this software and it will be readily available. So long as you actually have a computer and internet connection, this will be no problem.

Prepare to play, but only after you do these things:

*To begin your download, you will want to pick an RTG casino, and when you have done this, it's time to register. Create a new account in the lobby, and then decide how you want to deposit money into the account. There are many methods that you can use. You could use a credit card, or you could use a wire transfer. It's really up to you, and the options available will depend on what RTG you use. Finish your registration process and click OK.

*You will need to head over to the lobby to deposit your money. When you go there, there should be a 'Cashier' option. This will allow you to make your preferred deposit and you will get in on the game, which is what you've been waiting for.

It's pretty easy to get into the game. There are likely a lot of tables available, and you need only sit down at one. Whether you Video slots, progressive games, real series, whatever you want. You're sure to have a great time!

Player Etiquette

It's common for any place, whether online or off-there are going to be rules. Make sure that you follow these rules so that everyone will be much happier. But if you do not heed the rules, you will more than likely find yourself banned, which is a bad situation for anyone.

* Make sure that you stick with players of your own skill. By doing this you will ensure that everyone has a fun and challenging experience. If you wish to move up in the ranks, play some games for fun so you'll get the hang of the harder games.

* There is usually a chat function, but make sure that you use it with care. Do not abuse the chat with profanities or hate slurs. This can only lead to trouble for you later on.

*If you wish to chat or speak in forums, RTG casinos will demand that yous peak English. Please understand that this isn't a discrimination of any kind, it is simply the most common language, and it is easier if everyone speak it.

Play Limits

When you gamble, you want to make sure that you at least to t responsibly. Yes, it can be a hassle, but set limits for yourself so that you don't end up becoming addicted. When the limit is reached it's quite simple: stop gambling. Don't let it tear your life apart, and don't walk away from everything you know just because of a gambling addiction.

If you follow the rules and set your limits, then you're bound to have a great time with RTG casinos. So get to it, and enjoy!

The New Tractor Ray

By James Pynn

I recently went to my local video store. I guess I should say my local "DVD" store, but old habits die hard. The double-time march of technology moves so quickly it's hard keep pace. In fact, I only recently have finished converting all my music tapes with CDs. And it only took me 10 years to do it.

Imagine my dread when the iPod entered the picture. I knew the writing was on the wall with regards to my CD collection. The problem is, which one do I use? The Touch? The Nano? The Mosquito? I think a waiting strategy is in order. By the time I have the cash to buy one, the newest one will be on the market. But I digress.

Trolling through the narrow aisles, looking for something to rent that my wife wouldn't object to, I couldn't help but notice the 60-inch HDTV playing a Disney cartoon. It was hard to turn my head away from it as it dealt with talking animals. I was so mesmerized I forgot why I was there. I forgot my name, the time, even where I lived. The Technicolor brilliance of the images moving on the screen had me thoroughly enthralled. Then, faintly -- in the distance -- I heard honking.

When my wife swept into the store some time later, she shook me by the shoulders screaming, "What's wrong with you? You've been standing there for ten minutes -- didn't you hear me honking?" I brushed her aside and noticed the Blu-Ray player bolted underneath the screen. It was a revelation. I started blinking again and cleared my vision to see the shelves directly in front of me were filled with Blu-Ray discs.

I spent the rest of the night cleaning out my VHS collection and unhooking my video cassette player. I had rented a stack of brilliant new DVDs and was eager to get my new Blu-Ray player up and running. Covered in eager sweat, I finally settled down to watch my first rental around 10 o'clock. But something struck me -- where did my wife go?

Grand Haunted House Tour Magazine

By Chris Dotson

This Halloween season, Haunted Attraction Magazine will be sponsoring a Grand Tour of Haunted Houses throughout the country. It will be like their version of the CBS's popular reality show - The Amazing Race.

Twenty four different states and over 70 Haunted Houses, Hayrides and Haunted Trails across the country are on the schedule. Reviewer and intrepid traveler, John Kennedy, will be flying/driving to haunted houses all across the country to bring you pictures and reviews of some of the countries best and most interesting Haunted Houses. The tour began in late September and will continue until the 2009 Halloween season is over.

On October 12th was the day that this grand tour decided to come to our far city of Denver. John was able to catch the different Haunted Houses such as Primitive Fear and 13th Street Manor in Commerce City and at the end of the night finished up with the legendary 13th Door and Slaughterhouse Gulch. Here is a few words John had to say about our fair Haunted Houses of Denver.

"My second stop of the night took me to visit The 13th Door and Curse of Slaughterhouse Gulch Haunted Houses. These two haunts are located in a former shopping center in Denver but are very different haunts. I visited 13th Door Haunted House first.

The haunt is themed as a hotel with a good story behind the haunt. The Barrington Hotel was owned by wealthy Denver Millionaire, John Barrington. On a cold October night in 1912, John Barrington, was throwing his annual All Hallows Eve party in the Hotel's Penthouse suite. Unfortunately, a disgruntled nephew with a gambling problem starts a fire killing everyone inside, except for one person who found the 13th door.

Unfortunately, I got there later in the evening and had to go through by myself, but I still enjoyed the haunt. The haunt has good scenes and energetic actors who were doing their best to scare. There is a good variety of scenes and has plenty of dark spaces.

The second haunt I visited was Curse of Slaughterhouse Gulch which is similar to 13th Door but edgier and more intense. As you can guess by the name, it is a slaughterhouse themed haunt. This attraction featured solid scenes and enthusiastic actors just like 13th Door."

At the end of this Grand Tour ends it will have gone as far as 15,000 miles! Most of the tour will traveled via the trusty Haunted Attraction Hybrid with a couple airplane trips to get out west.

You can follow Johns adventures as he travels across the country via his Blog at http://www.hauntedattraction.com or you can follow him on Twitter @hauntmagazine. Happy Haunting, John!

A Guide To Downloading Karaoke Music - Files

By Brad Simons

The cyberspace is a indispensable reference for just about any information you want on an infinite amount of topics. But how can the internet be useful in when it comes to improving your karaoke singing? Nearly All semi-professional singers at all karaoke contests and nightspots come conditioned, so to improve, the central word is practice, practice, practice.

However did you know that the internet actually has the tools that can make it simpler to practise, and in fact can help you develop your voice to achieve your singing ability? To perfect your singing vocalisation that optimal thing to do is explore the full range of karaoke data files and karaoke disks accessible on-line to help you practice. However it is vital to know the divergence between the two, and what type will really work for you.

Karaoke files are a range of songs accessible through music files that you download to your PC. Each download accommodates both the tonal pattern and the lyrics which you can sing along to. It shows up on your pc projection screen, so all you need is the right computer software to work it. Karaoke data files are good to use, simply because there is low set-up prices, and you can transform your computer into a karaoke machine easily.

These karaoke downloads work superb as you can search through the broad range accessible and only download the singles that you want and would fit your vocal range. This signifies that you gain everything you wish, and nothing you dont. If you are doubtful what songs you want to practice with, or you would prefer to use your own karaoke machine or stereo system than your pc, the best alternative here would be karaoke discs. These vary from karaoke files due to the fact of just having one song, you will be receiving a whole discs worth of songs, leaving you a huge range to pick out from . Karaoke discs are also perfect for individuals who wish to step away from the pc, due to the fact that there are many unique data formats accessible that work with home karaoke machines, to some that are even accommodated for DVD/ two-channel system playback. For people who desire to go to friends homes with their option at hand, karaoke cd discs are also very desirable to carry, and there is no concern about which data files to take, or if their computer is compatible as they will function in any player that takes their formatting.

Whichever formatting accommodates you better, both are easily obtainable on-line, and can be accessed cheaply, easily, and above all with a great range to fit your choices. Simply look at the deep extend of websites that sell either karaoke files or karaoke discs, and take the ones that befit your needs. From there you can be singing in no time, so there is unquestionably no excuse why you should not be rehearsing your way to karaoke flawlessness.

The Canuck Fan Condition

By Lisa Ovens

Well let's see ...so far we've has a sum total of two home games this post season. What does that get us? The Province Newspaper is asking readers for parade route ideas, a facebook group has been created to petition the engraving of the late Luc Bourdon's name onto the Stanley Cup the Canucks have yet to win, and we've had our first riot in Surrey, oops, my mistake, our first riot at the Surrey/ Delta border (Surrey slash Delta: what? Neither area wants to own up to the riot so they decided to share it?).

The Canuck fan condition at its peak? I doubt it.

I love the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and I am forever fascinated by what it does to everybody. When the Canucks are in the playoffs, there are two kinds of fans: those that get ahead of themselves and think the Cup is ours, and those that don't. And listening to the two groups clash has become a regular event for me these days. One side gets pumped up, and then the other side swoops in and tries to settle it down.

These are exciting times, and reveling in our first ever sweep is pretty cool. Yes, we are on our way to somewhere. Personally once I see the Aston Martin DB9's cruising around the Westside accessorized with Canuck car flags, I will know the fever has thoroughly spread. Until such time, I'll continue to check out the crazy Canuck online poll questions, peruse new Canucks Facebook groups, and make time to sneak away from the Internet, the chatter on sports talk radio, and soak up a little sun while its here. Living in the moment is about all I can do.

The Canuck Fan Tradition:

There are fans out there wanting to establish new Vancouver Canucks playoff traditions. I guess the simplicity of waving a white towel isn't enough for some anymore. Singing one verse of the anthem without the aid of the anthem singer doesn't cut it either, despite the fact fans in other NHL Cities love the way we do it here in Vancouver.

Thanks to Calgary's mighty Sea of Red, some Canuck fans, especially the younger ones, are either suffering from feelings of inadequacy or just desperate for something to call their own. Color coordinating the crowd in GM Place will take some time and some work. The Flying V and Skate logo enthusiasts aren't about to change to the new colors and logo now.

How many traditions do we really need? Are people really going for quantity over quality? For those wanting more consider early parade route planning a tradition. And due to multiple Canucks uniforms and logos, we could add identity crisis to the list.

But still we should feel good about the playoff traditions already in place.

Have no fear, little ones, ours is a Sea of Eras, and it sings in unison, united by white terry cloth and the enduring desire to see the Canucks and the Stanley Cup slowly make their way down our city streets.

Enjoying Real Series Slots Online

By Simon M Skinner

In your journeys into online casino gaming, you've heard the phrase "real series slots." Which might lead you to wonder not only what are they, but how do you play them? This article will help guide you into the fun and profitable world of real series slots.

What are Real Series Slots

Real series slots are the newest, hottest, and most entertaining games available online, powered by RealTime Gaming (RTG). They're extremely sought after, with only blackjack beating them in sheer popularity. Real series slots are actually placed twice as much than the regular 3-wheel slot machine games offered.

And not just because, either. Real series slot machines, with five reels instead of three, offer as many as 25 playlines. All five wheels have scatters and wilds, with thee or more wild-and-scatters and/or scatters combining to activate the bonus rounds. With more combinations there's more of an opportunity to win the big payouts.

And then there's the random jackpot mode. This jackpot is completely and utterly random, able to be won at any machine by any player at any time, so it's vital to play as often as you can on the real slot series in order to win the random jackpot, yourself. You can't win if you aren't playing, after all.

If you've chosen maximum payouts, you can win not just lots of money, but lots and lots of money. Or, you can play real series slots in a free play mode just to have fun until you're ready to get back to winning jackpots for the big wins.

Whichever you prefer, you should still take some time to get used to become familiar with machines, and comfortable playing them.

Slot Games

Real slot games are popular even with people who don't like to gamble, which means the manufacturers and software developers have to work around the clock for newer, better graphics and gameplay so people don't get tired of the same-old, same-old. Every time you look at an online casino there's almost always going to be a new game to play. And, of course, new games mean new graphics and new, entertaining sound effects.

Just to name a few of the games that you can play at the real series slots, you have Aztec's Treasure, Cleopatra's Gold, Caesar's Empire, Derby Dollars, Fruit Frenzy, Goldbeard, Diamond Dozen, and Lion's Lair. Just choose which one is just right for you. Or better yet, play them all.

As an example, in Derby Dollars, you can use horses to replace other icons, building winning combos for that jackpot win. Or, at the very least, trigger more games. Fruit Frenzy has lucky pineapples that you can put in place of other fruits.

But there's still no better way to learn about real series slots than to actually play them! So, go online and register at whichever casino takes your fancy and start downloading your favorite real series slots!

Top 8 Ways To Spot A Poker Bluff (Even Online!)

Spotting a poker bluff online is tricky. In offline play, you can watch body language and get physical cues as to when someone is bluffing. Usually unless they are a professional, all poker players give off signs they are bluffing through body language. Online, though, you don't have the ability to read body language, so how can you tell if someone is bluffing?

People still give off signals, even online, that they are bluffing. Some are better at covering, but others are a little loose and easy to catch. Either way, the following are 8 ways that you can spot a poker bluff online.

1. Pay attention to chatter. Some people cannot seem to hold their tongue. Some people who bluff will be chatting away. What they say may not match up to how they play and that is what you are watching for. Players may just reveal their bluff in what they say without ever realizing it.

2. A person bluffing may raise before the flop and quickly raise again. They are driving up the pot and hoping you don't have a hand you feel confident about.

3. If someone jumps into the game quickly or chooses to sits out and then changes their mind right as the cards are being dealt then they are someone to watch. They probably won't have a good hand, but are simply impatient. If they keep raising or they call quickly then chances are they are bluffing.

4. It is always smart to watch someone who goes all in with a low show on the table. This person may just be ready to call it a day and figures why not go out on a high note.

5. Get to know playing styles. The best players mix up their style, but your average player will usually follow the same general patterns. If someone starts playing odd then they should be watched. They may have a good hand, but chances are they are trying to bluff. Get to know the other players styles so you can spot when things are not quite right.

6. Watch aggressive or loose players. If you notice someone who is always playing aggressively then you never really know when to trust them because they cannot possible have an amazing hand every time.

7. Another thing about watching players - watch what is shown at the end. If someone keeps falling short then you know they like to bluff and you will keep an eye on them in the future.

8. People who play fast are a danger. Someone who is just playing fast and not putting thought into what they are doing is a loose cannon. They may not even have a clue how to play. Don't let them get you. Watch what they play and don't buy into their bluff.

These 8 ways to spot a poker bluff should help you to start being able to cut through the bluffs that are thrown your way online. After some practice and some time you should start to be able to spot online bluffs just as easily as you do during an offline game.

Let A Mississippi Cruise Critic Help You Choose The Perfect Tour

By Anthony Herbert

When looking for that perfect Mississippi cruise, there are all sorts of reviews covering the various options, including those given by professional cruise critics. Specialized critics give an exceptional viewpoint on cruises that you cannot get by reading customer reviews. You can learn a lot by reading their opinions.

A good cruise critic will tell you all the salient details of a specific Mississippi cruise. From booking the trip to getting on to the ship, to the sights and activities that you will be able to do once you have boarded, to food and accommodation.

Accommodation is one of the things that a Mississippi cruise critic would usually concentrate on a lot in its review of a multi-day cruise. Here you can find out about the spaciousness of the cabins, the quality of the bedding and the fittings of the bathrooms.

The critics tell about every day of their trip as they go about their activities and use the special facilities like health spas and steam rooms. By telling you what they find to be good and bad about the activities and services on the ships, they are also telling you what is considered normal in a Mississippi cruise.

One of the things that you will be able to glean from the review of a Mississippi cruise critic is the kind of tipping that is to be expected on a specific cruise. This is very much dependent on the level of luxury but there are other factors too, and reading a good review will allow you to avoid over-tipping.

After reading a critic's review, you may end up choosing another ship. Also, you may find out that you have the option of paying your tips upfront so you do not have to worry about them later.

One thing you can be sure of is that the Mississippi cruise critics will give their assessments about their gastronomic experiences on the ship whether the fare is excellent or revolting. They will give examples of the kinds of foods they ate and how well it was arranged. They will also describe the furnishings and ambience of the dining rooms.

Mississippi cruise critics usually take some shoreline trips so they can write about them if for no other reason. They will let you know if the cruise ship has prearranged their excursions soundly.

Trips to the shore and other sightseeing is usually commented upon by Mississippi cruise critics as well, so you will be able to decide in advance whether an optional excursion offered at extra cost is worth your time or not.

Mississippi cruise critics can truly be a great help when it comes to choosing the right cruise, and they may just mean the difference between you getting onto a badly managed wreck of a boat or enjoying the Mississippi cruise of your lifetime.

Hummingbird Fish Finders - Too Easy

For years now, the video store was the way to get movies. Instead of buying or renting the dvd, people now can choose a movie download instead. You will find just about any movie you want with a good movie download site. Below is a small sample.

Cuba Crossing: Our lead man Stuart Whitman becomes embroiled in a plot to take out Fidel Castro. Filmed in Key West, Florida, and a minimum of the landscape is pretty. Cast includes Stuart Whitman, Robert Vaughn, Caren Kaye, Raymond St. Jacques, Woody Strode, Sybil Danning, Albert Salmi, and Michael Gazzo. (90 minutes, 1980)

Pulp Fiction: This is Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece work. The story weaves around four separate, yet intertwined events. There was an accidental killing, the crime bosses wife's overdose, the boxer who didn't throw the fight, and pair of small time crooks trying to rob a restaurant.

8 Percent Women: While a triumphant businessman is widowed, his child tries to help him through his misery by taking him on a sensual odyssey. The females range from a prior nun Collette to a horsewoman (Plummer) who wears a weird see through harness. Copious nudity couldn't keep this from being a massive bore. Cast includes John Sitting, Matthew Delamere, Vivian Wu, Shizuka lnoh, Barbara Sarafian, Manna Fujiwara, and Polly Stroller. (121 minutes, 1999)

Only You: Likable confection in reference to a youthful female who invests her entire life looking for her perfect mate whose name was summoned up on a Ouija board. Cast includes Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey, Jr., Bonnie Seek, Joaquim De Almeida, Fisher Stevens, and Phyllis Newman. (108 minutes, 1994)

The Geisha Boy: Jerry, an inept warlock, voyages to Japan with catastrophic repercussions. See you in the Morning: Bridges and Krige follow a difficult journey to a second matrimony for both of them, trying to delete poor memories and lingering complications and having to triumph over each other's youngsters. Overall knowledge, warmth, and gentility are expressed in this relationship film. Cast includes Jeff Bridges, Alice Krige, Farrah Fawcett, Linda Lavin, Drew Barrymore, and Robin Bartlett. (119 minutes, 1989)

Alaska: Adolescent venture on a grand scale, as a brother and sister take off looking for their dad and his downed plane. Structured like an old B movie melodrama, however implemented with conviction contrary to magnificent, snowy landscape and characterizing an irresistible polar bear who befriends the youngsters. Heston, whose child prompted the drama, plays a mean, cunning old man. Cast includes Thora Birch, Vincent Kartheiser, Dirk Benedict, Charlton Heston, Duncan Fraser, and Gordon Tootoosis. (110 minutes, 1996)

Airplane: Extremely ludicrous spoof of Airport with a nonstop amount of gags that keeps up almost to the end. Our top choice: the bizarre plight of Lt. Hurwitz. Stay tuned through the very last credits. Cast includes Robert Hays, Julie Hagerty, Robert Pile, Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Leslie Nielsen, Loma Patterson, and Stephen Stucker. (100 minutes, 1984)

Promises Promises: Horrible comedy in regards to couples Mansfield-Noonan and McDonald-Hargitay, and their sensual shenanigans on a voyage. It is famous in its night for Jayne's baring her body, a first for its time. Still, take heed: it is a genuinely poor film. Cast includes Jayne Mansfield, Marie McDonald, Tommy Noonan, Mickey Hargitay, Fritz Feld, Matjorie Bennett, and Imogene Coca. (75 minutes, 1963)

Okay, if you're looking for downloads, try phrases like "Movie Sharing". A change in the phrase will sometimes get a better result. Try something different, like "Watch Download Movies Online".

How To Count Cards

Card counting is a common strategy used to play and win at blackjack. If you have wanted to learn how to count cards, but have been worried it is too hard, then read on. You are about to learn simple steps to counting cards that will get you started. If you want additional information there are plenty of great resources all over the internet that teach the various methods of card counting. This should be enough, though, to get you started in card counting.

The high-low system is one of the most common methods of counting cards. It is also one of the easiest systems to understand. Before you start to learn how to count cards, you need to understand that card counting is not really about counting the actually number of cards, but rather figuring the ratio of high to low cards that remain in the deck. It may seem confusing, but just follow along and you should start to understand.

Assigning Values

In the high-low system you will assign point values to each card. Low cards include 2,3,4,5 and 6. These cards get a value of plus one. High cards are the 10,jack,queen,king and ace. These cards get a value of minus one. Neutral cards are the 7,8 and 9. They get no value assigned to them.

To begin with learning to count cards you should practice memorizing the values of each card. Go through a deck over and over reciting the card values until you are sure you have them memorized.

Keep the Running Count

Once you are feeling that you have the card values memorized you can start working with keeping a running count. This is more practice to get you ready for the actual game.

To keep a running count you start with a value of 0. As you flip over cards from your deck you will add or subtract the values. For example, if you have a king, queen, 2 and 8 you would end up with a count of minus 1.

Keeping the running count will likely take much more practice that just memorizing the values. It is essential, though, that you get keeping the running count down perfectly. You should keep practicing until it becomes like second nature and you don't hesitate anymore in figuring the count.

True Count

Once you are ready to play an actual game and count the cards during the game you will go from a running count to the true count. To do this you keep the running count and divide it by the number of cards remaining in the deck. The true count will tell you what to bet.

If the true count is positive then bet more. If it is negative then don't bet as much. This allows you to play smart and only bet when you have a good chance of winning. In the end you will likely win more than you lose. Card counting can be a great way to start improving your odds at the blackjack table and help you start to make more when you play.

The Seven Capital Sins of Muscle Building

By Ricardo d Argence

Good habits should be developed now to help building muscle for the long term. In order to build muscle continuously, it's important to start and keep doing the right things at the right times. But people can fall into bad habits without realizing the risks, or how their body and their progress, can be affected. Here are not only the top seven bad habits, but a few tips on how to avoid them.

1.) The worst sin in body building: Taking steroids. For so many, many reasons this is a horrible thing to do to yourself, from acne, swelling, bad breath, discoloration of the skin, dizziness and trembling, nausea, vomiting, mood swings, balding, liver damage, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, cardiovascular disease, aching joints, and even a slight loss of height! Not to mention testicular shrinkage, importance, pain while urinating, sterility, and the development of breasts. Simply put, don't take steroids.

2.) Over lifting. Yes, trying to lift more weight than your training partner can be highly motivating, but be careful about it. Not only can lifting too much weight decrease your muscle gain, it can also cause you severe injuries. If you find yourself unable to lift or lower a weight, or can't lift it with a controlled motion and have to use momentum to get it up, then you're lifting too much weight and need to lower it before you hurt yourself.

3) Eating too much protein. Everyone knows protein is good for you and helps you build muscle, but it's possible to consume too much. An average person's protein intake is about a gram or less of per kilo of body weight a day. A muscle building athlete consumes more, at about 1.7 grams of protein per kilo of bodyweight. Consuming more than this could lead to osteoporosis and irreversible kidney damage. You could even damage your heart over time, due to protein byproducts released by your body.

4) Taking stimulants such as ephedrine has dangerous side effects including heart palpitations, heart attack and stroke. Whilst these are not prohibited you wold be wise to exercise extreme caution and in fact would be much better off not using them. you may try a caffeine pill instead as these are far less dangerous. If any doubts exist make sure you get the opinion of a health care professional.

5) Some people seem to think that training on an empty stomach will make them burn off more fat. However your energy comes from carbohydrate therefore if you haven't eaten you will have far less energy and have virtually no chance of having a good workout. You will be unable to lift more than your previous best and you will probably be left shaking, jittery and even dizzy after your workout possibly due to low blood sugar levels. Instead have a pre-workout meal including thing like rice, vegetables and fruit.

6) Failing to stretch or warm up properly. In order to prevent debilitating injuries such as ligament strains and muscle tears, it's extremely important that you prepare your body for exercise. This also has the effect of improving your performance, range of motion, and posture. Spending about 10 minutes warming up is a wise and effective use of your time.

7) Not keeping a training log. A training log is an essential part of building muscle; you need it to measure your progress and keep track of your personal best lifts. A training log doesn't take much time and is very motivating at keeping you on track. Making use of one is a good idea.

OK, the above are a few pointers but mainly relax be safe and enjoy your workouts most of the time a healthy dose of common sense is enough to ensure your safety.

Visiting Tigers Shock Hurricanes In Overtime

By Ross Everett

The Clemson Tigers used a touchdown pass on their first possession of overtime to upset the Miami Hurricanes 40-37 on Saturday night to cap a back and forth game. Miami kicked a field goal on their first possession of overtime to take the lead, but Clemson responded with a seldom used play on third and 11 to get the victory as quarterback Kyle Parker completed a 27 yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Ford.

College football betting devotees who backed Clemson as +4 road underdogs eventually cashed their tickets, but they definitely earned their money in a game that saw twelve lead changes and two ties. Clemson improved to 5-2 against the spread with the cover, while Miami dropped to 4-3 against the money.

After the game, Jacoby Ford explained the logic for his suggesting the surprise play in the huddle:

"We knew this game was going to come down to who made more plays. And we did."

Miami has a history of winning when their offense is clicking-this loss was only the second in 115 games when the Hurricanes score 37 or more points dating back to 1985.

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney was just glad this one is over:

"I have a birthday next month and I think I'm going to turn 50 instead of 40. We had to put on Superman capes. We made plenty of mistakes that could have lost us the game, but they played with poise and confidence. We just kept battling."

CJ Spiller was also a big factor for the Tigers as he set a school record with 310 all purpose yards including a 90 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. He also added 81 yards rushing and 104 yards receiving with a 56 yard touchdown catch.

Clemson QB Parker suggested that last week's win over Wake Forrest was a turning point for his team:

"I think last week we realized that we could be really good and this week we acted on it. I thought we really got some explosive plays and we played well."

Miami's quarterback Jason Harris sounded a different tone in his postgame comments:

"This has to be my toughest loss here. We fought so hard throughout the game as a team and didn't come out with the victory. We let Clemson outwork us, we turned the ball over too much -- little things that made us get to this point."

Clemson will host FCS foe Coastal Carolina next Saturday before resuming ACC play the following week at home against Florida State. They'll travel to North Carolina State on November 14. Miami plays two of their next three on the road, starting next weekend at Wake Forest. They'll face the University of Virginia at home the next week before traveling to Chapel Hill for a game against North Carolina on November 14.

You can certainly make your next event joyful and exciting if you opt for a venue hire to this event, as you get all those facilities there, which are reckoned essential to make an event memorable.

Throwing a party in a hotel, or a bar is quite conventional and most among your guests must have already attended hundreds of parties at such venues before, and there is nothing new for them in such parties. Contrarily, if you hire a private venue for your event and try to provide something different to your guests, it can really give a change to your guests, and make them remember your event for long. Hiring a private venue for your event would not allow your guests to say that it is the same place where they have already attended two or three parties before. Your guests will remember you if you offer them something different.

You need to plan and explore different venues to make things really exciting, and joyful. You need to locate such places for these events, as you never visited before. No doubt about it that your options are limitless in this connection and you just need to explore them.

One can even decide to organise the party in the premises of a different town or a city. You can look for a location where you have never been earlier; this will give a new kind of joy and gratification to your guests.

Whatever venue you decide for your party or event, you must keep this fact in mind that your guests will remember your event only if, you give them something different and entertain them in a different way. Whether it is about music, or some other sort of entertaining stuff, you must try to provide them maximum delight and enjoyment.

Even if someone decides to arrange their occasion at a restaurant or a bar, they must not forget that everyone has different choice in this regard, and it is exceptional that each person would want to go to the same restaurant or bar.

One may best entertain their guests by keeping their desired foodstuff, harmony, snacks, drinks, and other such things in the party. Each one of these things will make your guests remember your party for long.

You can even amuse your guests by arranging their beloved music, food, drinks, and several other things in the party. All these things will surely make your guests remember your party for a long period.

How The Top Poker Players Will Beat You

Have you ever wondered how the professional poker players get so good? What tricks do they use? What skills have they developed to be able to win so big? Most of all, how can you learn these things so you can start playing like a pro?

You need to develop the characteristics of a top poker player. You need to practice and start figuring out what things the pros do that you should do. Here are some tips on how to play like a pro:

- Know that you will lose. It is a fact that you will not win every hand. However, accept it. Don't let it get you down. Don't get into a slump. Don't let yourself believe that the odds are against you just because you see to be having a bad day. The odds stay the same. If you generally can expect that you have a 3% chance of losing in any given game then you will always have that 3% chance of loss. It doesn't matter what kind of day you are having.

- Focus on winning. Being greedy is a part of playing the game. Your goal is to win. Every player at the table has that same goal. You have to be focused on yourself. Don't make friends at the table. You should always be out for yourself and only yourself. Being greedy gets you focused and makes you better able to win.

- Don't bring your problems to the table. A good player leaves life behind when they sit down at the table. If you cannot get past something that has happened in your outside life then just don't play. You have to leave everything behind in order to really play the game.

- You must be focused and dedicated tot he game. Top players know that focus is key. You cannot be thinking about anything but the game. You cannot let anything take your attention away from the game. You must put everything into the game and be dedicated 100%.

Professional poker players are serious about the poker game. They are not out there to just have fun and socialize. They are there to win. If you want to play like a pro then you have to think and act like one. They look so serious for a reason - they are serious.

These 4 tips are going to help you to get into the same mindset as a pro. However, you will also have to work on your poker playing skills. Having the right attitude is one thing, but you also need to know how to play. So, practice. Play as often as you can and build up your skills. To be the best you must know the game inside and out. You have to have the right attitude and your mind must be focused. If you really want to be a top player then you can be. Just follow all the advice in this article, stick to it and one day you will be the top player everyone envies.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Review

By James Ronald Wellingston

This album has become like a "museum piece" because of the way people talk about it with such reverence. Unfortunately this means that not enough people are focusing on what makes the album special in the first place: the music. This article is an attempt to take this album out of the museum and into the ears by focusing on it's music instead of it's "historical significance."

01. "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" - The album starts off with this brilliant Paul McCartney rocker (he wrote it, sang lead, and even played the lead guitar part) which really sets the mood (and the "concept") for the entire album. I love how the song intersperses pretty heavy rock with the somewhat ridiculous horn sections. The imagination displayed in this music is really overwhelming. I can imagine people who have grown up listening to the drab obvious music of "rock bands" like Nickelback being very confused by what's going on in this music as they've never really been introduced to imagination or creativity in music before. But if they can get over that initial confusion, I think they will begin to understand the possibilities of what music can be.

02. "With a Little Help from my Friends" - The perfect song for Ringo Starr to sing. John Lennon & Paul McCartney wrote this song together specifically for Ringo to sing which I think makes the great lyrics all that much greater (think of them in that context.)

03. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" - Now that the original mono version is available easily (with the release of The Beatles in Mono Box Set) it's great to be able to hear what this album sounds like in mono (how it was "meant to be heard" originally.) And the heavy vocal effects on this song is probably one of the more interesting things about the mono mixes for me.

04. "Getting Better" - The "it couldn't get much worse" lyric that Lennon added to this McCartney song is such a great example of the way that Lennon and McCartney made each others songs better even when they weren't righting them "eyeball to eyeball" like in the early days.

05. "Fixing a Hole" - Possibly the best lyrics Paul McCartney ever wrote. Another one of my favorites on an album filled with favorites.

06. "She's Leaving Home" - This song is very interesting to hear in mono because it's actually sped up (and thus pitched up) in the mono mix. It has a lot more energy that way. Definitely worth a listen!

07. "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite" - I think my favorite part of this song is the cut up tape section where it sounds like sort of insane random carnival music.

08. "Within You Without You" - Speaking of "far out" how about we go all the way to India? Some people don't like this song because it doesn't fit with their preconceived notions of what music is supposed to sound like. To me this song is brilliant because of that very reason. We shouldn't limit ourselves.

09. "When I'm Sixty-Four" - I love how quickly the musical styles change with this album. We go from a carnival to India to music hall!

10. "Lovely Rita" - In an album filled with stand-out tracks, this one is probably somewhat forgettable in comparison. Of course it's still a great song.

11. "Good Morning Good Morning" - There's some interesting time changes in this one. I also love the Jimi Hendrix style guitar leads by Paul McCartney.

12. "Sgt. Pepper's (Reprise)" - This one is even better than the album opener. It rocks something fierce!

13. "A Day in the Life" - The greatest song ever.

A Sampling Of Informative Film Plot Lines To View

By Edna Moon

It wasn't that long ago that a trip to the corner video shop was the most convenient way to get a movie. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.

Bar Girls: Friendly if faulty romantic comedy with a twist: most of its chief characters are lesbians who assemble at L.A.'s Girl Bar. The core personality is compulsive, wryly ludicrous Loretta Wolfe, a female Woody Allen who desires an exact better half but not truly grasping what it means to genuinely and entirely love another person. The film's shortcomings are made up for by witty discussion and believable characters. Cast includes Nancy Allison Wolfe, Liza D'Agostino, Camila Griggs, Justine Slater, Lisa Parker, and Pam Raines. (95 minutes, 1994)

Dodgeball, A True Underdog Story: Peter is the proud owner of Average Joe's gym. His luck is running low and White Goodman, owner of gym franchise Globo Gym, wants to get the gym from Peter. Things culminate in a dodge ball competition in which Average Joe's team must win for Peter to keep his beloved gym.

Trading Places: This movie is testing heredity vs. environment by switching a "have" preppy Aykroyd and a "have-not" road hustler Murphy. Murphy, in his second film, is a powerhouse, and makes up for director Landis' pleasures like a subplot engaging a horny gorilla. Cast includes Dan Aykroyd, Eddie Murphy, Ralph Bellamy, Don Ameche, Denholm Elliott, Kristin Holby, Al Franken, Tom Davis, and Bill Cobbs.(116 minutes, 1983)

Frequency: John Sullivan lost his father thirty years ago. He is still affected by the loss. Somehow with the use of his father's old ham radio, he can communicate with his father, back when his father was still alive. He warns his father of the fire that would kill him. This saves his father but sets off new events that now must be resolved, or John's mother will die.

Educating Rita: This is an amusing adaptation of Willy Russell's level play in reference to a youthful working class spouse who desires to better herself, and chooses boozy professor Caine as her mentor. Walters is phenomenal in her film debut performing her role and Caine has one of his best roles as her mentor. Cast includes Michael Caine, Julie Walters, Michael Williams, Maureen Lipman, Jeananne Crowley, and Malcolm Douglas. (110 minutes, 1983)

The Lost Continent: The steamer drifts into the seaweed suffocated Sargasso Ocean and finds a lost continent with a secluded ancient culture acquired from Spanish monarchy. Excellent cast handles uneven script straight-faced. Cast includes Eric Porter, Hildegard Knef, Suzanna Leigh, Tony Beckley, Nigel Stock, and Neil McCallu. (89 minutes, 1968)

Mystery Alaska: Remote Alaskan town's hockey team is given the possibility to play the N.Y. Rangers as a publicity stunt. There is a hodgepodge cast of characters and an unavoidable big game finale. Crowe is the only one to ascend above the material. Cast includes Russell Crowe, Burt Reynolds, Hank Azaria, Mary McCormack, Lolita Davidovich, Mike Myers, and Little Richard. (118 minutes, 1999)

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone: On Harry's eleventh birthday, he learns about who he is. He is the orphaned son of two very powerful wizards. He too has magical powers, and he is invited to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He is off on the biggest adventure imaginable.

Red Scorpion: Low Budget action movie with Lundgren as a Soviet officer sent to Africa to slay an insurgent leader. Cast includes Dolph Lundgren, Emmet Walsh, Al White, T.P. McKenna, Carmen Argenziano, and Brian James. (102 minutes, 1989)

However if you prefer to start with a real table with padding under the felt and some sort of legs, these are available anywhere from $150 to $800. There will also be some shipping cost.

Now that you have all of the basic supplies you need why not consider getting a little more education about the game of 21. You should consider a blackjack instructional book to hone your skills. This investment will cost you around $20 but will be well worth it.

Something else that you might consider is an educational black jack DVD to help you understand more about this popular casino game. You can receive the advice of a blackjack pro in a fun and exciting production. There is always more to learn and room for improvement in your game.

Water Trampolines: Why You Should Get One

By Jerry Bencia

You must have heard of water bouncers and water trampolines. Both these units are slightly different with reference to portability. A water trampoline comes with springs in a steel frame that supports the main jumping area. On the other hand, a water bouncer utilizes only a webbing that is connected to the bouncing area with a flotation tube.

There are some advantages of buying a water trampoline instead of a water bouncer which include the facility of being able to bounce higher on the water trampoline. A water trampoline can also handle more weight than the bouncer so several members of the family can bounce together on it. But the extra sturdiness makes the water trampoline a little more time consuming than the water bouncer to set up.

Regular trampolines are used for many purposes ranging from international competitions to circuses and fairs. There has been a recent craze for using trampolines at home both for exercise and fun purposes. Water trampolines can provide a very good cardio workout for the entire family

If you buy a regular trampoline you will need more space to store it. Water trampolines are far more portable therefore. They have also become common utilities at gyms and schools as they can provide a cardio workout session too.

Two things you will have to be particularly careful about while buying a water trampoline is the diameter of the jumping area and the climbing ladder. The ladder should be convenient to use and the diameter large enough to suit your family. Diameters from 9 to 12 feet are usually good enough for a small family. Additional accessories like basketball kits for the side of the trampoline, slides and bouncing boards are fun too.

The easiest way to buy a water trampoline is to order one off the Internet. Some very good offers can be obtained online though you must only shop at secure sites and not get taken in by luring advertisements. A good way to fetch a nice discount on your water trampoline purchase is to use discount coupons and request free shipping by going in for a big purchase that includes the main units and some accessories. You will be using the accessories at some time or the other so combining them with the initial purchase will cut on costs.

Benza, Henry G. Sanders, and Antonio Tarver. (102 minutes, 2006)

A Beginner's Introduction to Carp Fishing Gear

By Tony G. Stevenson

One of the most popular freshwater fish for anglers is the carp, which gets a lot of attention in Europe, but is still struggling to catch on in the United States. Carp fishing is a popular outdoor activity, and the large size and good fight of these fish is sure to help the growth of this sport continue. One thing every would be carper needs, however, is good fishing equipment.

There might be no piece of fishing gear more important than the rod. If you want a suitable fishing rod for carp, you will wan to find one that is at least medium action, and also at least six feet in length. For beginners, this is an ideal rod to get into this type of fresh water angling.

Right after the rod you need to consider the reel. All good reels are open faced, not closed faced, and can hold a great deal of line. At a very minimum, you should be able to spool 150 yards of 12 lb test. More is better, but 150 should be your minimum standard.

Finding the right bait is important with any type of fish. Carp aren't picky eaters, but some bait is going to work better than others. While many bass anglers love rapalas, the best tackle for carp is actually sticky and smelly bait. There are many specialty carp baits available, so test around and see what the carp in your area like best.

More advanced carpers will often use racks with several rods, or "pods," and set them all up with bait and wait for any carp to show. These rod holders can be very expensive, but also free up the hands for anglers who don't mind catching up on a good book while waiting for the trophy carp to show.

Without the right fishing line, the rest is moot. For carp the absolute "lightest" fishing line you want is 12 pound test line. Heavier line isn't a bad idea, either.

While there is big time fishing gear for carp anglers that costs a good deal of money, starting gear can be had for fairly cheap. Carp angling can be a very rewarding hobby that provides many hours of entertainment, making it a cheaper in the long run over many other forms of recreation.

Every angler knows you have to have the right gear to get the job done. If you want to really enjoy carp fishing, get the right tackle and gear early on and you'll be glad you did.
