In this article I have decided to answer several popular teeth whitening faq's in regards to tooth whitening. So to start things off, lets answer the mainly general question first. What is teeth whitening?

In-office procedures require two or more visits to the dentist and each visit lasts for thirty minutes to one hour. Where the at-home products purchased from a dentist or medical store and over-the-counter products take several hours to four weeks to show the outcome, today there are even some that will show results as early as 15 minutes following the process!

What are the side effects of tooth whitening?

A few feel temporary irritation, such as gum or tooth sensitivity. But these symptoms disappear within 1 to 3 days after the action is completed.

How much does the assorted methods of tooth whitening cost?

The charges vary with location, types of treatment and product used. But Laser or power whitening treatment is always expensive than professional bleaching and home based bleaching. Home based whitening work just as well as the expensive treatments and are cost efficient. They are your top bet starting out.
