The Jackal: A Russian mobster seeing that the US is helping the Russian government fight crime, has hired master assassin the Jackal to kill the Director of the FBI. In a race against time, and with not much knowledge of the Jackal, the FBI enlists the services of IRA sniper Declan Mulqueen, bringing him out of jail to help. In a face pace race against time they work furiously to track the jackal down.
Prom Night: This is about exacting revenge on the boys who were accountable for the mortality of a little girl 6 years before. Not the poorest of its type, although that's nothing to boast about. Cast includes Leslie Nielsen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Casey Stevens, Antoinette Bower, and Robert Silverman. (91 minutes, 1980)
Albino Alligator: Disheartening flick in regards to a trio of dysfunctional lawbreakers who hide out in a basement bar in New Orleans, accidentally starting a crisis. In the mean time, the Feds assemble outside, imagining a much more perilous and desired lawbreaker is holed up inside. Spacey's directorial debut presents an excellent cast and gets off to a promising start, however it sputters to a dramatic stop midway through.
